  • Device & Technical Data IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and time zone.
  • Usage Data Pages visited, links clicked, referring URLs, session duration, and navigation paths through our Website.

  • Insurance Carriers & Underwriters Information shared by insurers in the process of obtaining quotes or managing your policy.

  • Publicly Available Sources Information from government registries, public records, or other lawfully accessible sources relevant to your coverage needs.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as medical records, financial account credentials, or biometric data beyond what is strictly necessary to provide the insurance services you have requested, and only with your explicit consent where required by law.

We collect and process your personal information on the following legal grounds, in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy law:

Insurance Carriers & Underwriters

As an insurance brokerage, it is inherent to our services that we share relevant personal information with insurance carriers, underwriters, and reinsurers for the purpose of obtaining quotes, binding policies, managing claims, and fulfilling our contractual obligations on your behalf. This sharing is necessary to provide the services you have requested.

Service Providers

We may engage trusted third-party service providers to assist in operating our Website and delivering our services. These may include:

As a licensed insurance brokerage, we are subject to record-keeping requirements under applicable insurance legislation and RIBO regulations. In general, we maintain client files and policy-related records for a minimum of seven (7) years following the end of the business relationship, unless a longer retention period is required by law or for the resolution of disputes or legal claims.

Website usage data and analytics data collected via cookies or similar technologies are retained for shorter periods commensurate with their purpose, typically no longer than 26 months.

When personal information is no longer required and there is no legal obligation to retain it, we will securely destroy, delete, or anonymize it in accordance with our data disposal procedures.
